A flexible programme bringing academic, social and emotional support together around your child's individual needs.
Most support starts with the work. Ruby starts with the child. This is how every programme begins.
Ruby starts by looking beneath the behaviour. Not what is wrong, but what is really going on for this child.
She builds a genuine relationship. A child who feels safe and understood is a child ready to learn and grow.
With trust in place, she builds skills, confidence and knowledge, at the child's pace and from their strengths.
Progress that lasts, because it is built on understanding and connection, not pressure.

Over 10 years working with children and families, nationally and internationally, Ruby have learned to notice what sits beneath the surface. Ruby would love to work with yours.

He was feeling anxious and nervous about the change, and was also finding friendships and navigating his peer group at school difficult.
Ruby had a wonderful approach that allowed my son to express his feelings openly and without judgement. She gave him strategies to help him navigate social situations and build relationships with children his own age.
The difference has been remarkable. He is now a very happy pre-teen who has had a fantastic start to secondary school and has built strong friendships.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Ruby to any parent whose child is struggling with emotions, friendships or a big transition.
Ruby works with children and young people aged 7 to 18. Tuition is for ages 7 to 13 and includes 7+, 9+ and 11+ entrance exam preparation, while coaching is available across the full 7 to 18 range. Sessions can be in person across North London (including Barnet, Muswell Hill, Finchley, Highgate, Hampstead and Hampstead Garden Suburb), or online for families across the UK and internationally, including expat families abroad.
Tuition builds academic knowledge and confidence with schoolwork, while coaching supports the things underneath it: confidence, friendships, resilience, managing worries, handling change, and understanding their own feelings and reactions. Coaching is practical and forward-looking, always focused on where your child is now and where they would like to get to.
Coaching is not therapy or clinical treatment. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, it gives children practical strategies, a genuine relationship, and space to grow in confidence, at their own pace. Many children simply need someone who understands them and helps them build the skills to thrive, and that is exactly what coaching offers.
If Ruby believes a child would benefit from clinical support, she will always say so.
No. This work sits in the space in between. Not therapy, not clinical, but education-led support that pays attention to the whole child. You do not need a diagnosis, or any formal label, to be supported here.
Ruby has worked with a wide range of children, and building trust is the part she takes most seriously. Most children settle quickly. Some take a few sessions to feel comfortable, and that is completely fine. It teaches a child something valuable in itself: that relationships build with time, and that someone is willing to keep showing up.

This is educational and wellbeing support, not therapy or clinical treatment. Families seeking clinical or diagnostic support should speak with a registered psychologist, therapist, or their GP. Ruby is happy to help point you in the right direction if needed.
