Ruby offers calm, personalised tuition for children who may benefit from a slightly different approach to learning. With a background in teaching and child psychology, she takes time to understand each child’s strengths, interests, confidence and any areas where they may need extra support. She has experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, processing and working memory differences, as well as children who have simply lost confidence or fallen behind. Where helpful, Ruby is also happy to work alongside a child’s existing school support so that sessions feel joined-up, achievable and tailored to the individual child.

Frequently asked questions
Does my child need a formal diagnosis?
No. A formal diagnosis is not required. Support is based on your child's individual strengths, needs, interests and experience of learning. Families who are waiting for an assessment, or who have chosen not to pursue one, are equally welcome.
Can you work with my child's school or SENCo?
Yes, with parent permission. This may involve speaking with a teacher or SENCo, reviewing shared targets, or aligning tuition with support already in place where that would be useful. Some families prefer to keep tuition separate from school, and that is equally acceptable. Ruby and the family can decide together what would best support your child.

Selective schools and interviews
