Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms apply when you book tuition, coaching or any other service with Ruby Cole. By booking a session or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

1. My services

I provide 1:1 specialist tuition and children's coaching, in person across North London and online. Sessions are tailored to each child following an initial conversation with parents or carers.

2. Bookings and payment

Session packages are agreed and confirmed in writing before work begins. Payment terms will be set out at the time of booking. Fees are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed.

3. Cancellations and rescheduling

I ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice will be charged in full, except in cases of illness or emergency.

4. Parent and carer responsibilities

Parents and carers are responsible for providing accurate information about their child's needs, for ensuring a suitable environment for online sessions, and for settling fees on time.

5. Safeguarding

The welfare of every child I work with comes first. Please see my Safeguarding Policy for full details of my approach.

6. Liability

While I take great care in delivering my services, I cannot guarantee specific academic or personal outcomes. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from my services, except where this cannot be excluded by law.

7. Intellectual property

Any materials, worksheets or resources I create remain my intellectual property and are provided for your child's personal use only.

8. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
